Guest sentiment
A snapshot of what local diners frequently mention about this location.
"Came here for lunch and loved it. Quite a low key tucked away local spot, with an excellent 16€ set lunch. The set includes a starter, main, dessert and drink. Starters were delicious - probably the best asparagus I've ever had. The duck confit was excellent too as was the fish. Service was great although limited English (make sure you have Google translate handy if you can't speak or read Spanish). Would be hard to find somewhere this good at this price! Definitely recommend."
"It was fully booked but they proposed for us to sit at the bar and eat. Really friendly and great ambiance. The squid with beans and onions was amazing, and the Catalan beef stew very tasty."
"Very cute little place, where locals come for lunch! You can choose from a few options each, first course, main and desert all for 14€ including a drink! Everything is in spanish and staff doesn’t speak english, but they are very friendly!"
"Had dinner there last night. Owner was kind to give us a table despite no reservation. Local bar vibe, but have dining tables inside. The beef stew was superb. Ordered a second round for it. Calamari and sausage with beans and vermut were also good. Highly recommended."
"Amazing, friendly service from the get-go; even though they were going on vacation, they served our table with enthusiasm. They recommended very good dishes: spanish omelette and squid fry. The omelette was creamy and a good starter that gets addicting as you taste it. The squid dish ( HIGHLY RECOMMEND ) was a uniquely fresh taste and paired so well with the fried beans."
"The food was so delicious! I ordered the fish which was some of the best fish I've ever had. Menu is all Spanish but the waiter recommended some items from the menu del dia. Would definitely recommend it."
"Absolut gem of a tavern. simple but incredible food cooked to perfection. Absolutely must !"
"Nice little bodega 10 mins walk from Parc Guell. The vermouth was good and the service was attentive. The charcuterie board was a little underwhelming - just cut up salami with some bread."
